Plain-language summary

SoundSlicr itself stores a small amount of preference information in your browser (for example, theme preference) so the site feels consistent when you return.

SoundSlicr also includes advertising services. Those services may use cookies or similar identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization where permitted.

This page explains the two categories separately: (1) SoundSlicr preference storage, and (2) third-party advertising identifiers.

Google advertising cookies and identifiers

SoundSlicr includes the Google AdSense site verification and advertising tag. Google and its partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, or process IP addresses and other identifiers when the tag or an ad-related request loads.

These technologies may support ad delivery, measurement, reporting, fraud prevention, security, frequency control, and personalized advertising where consent and regional rules allow it.

Your available choices may vary by region. Where consent is required, advertising cookies or personalized ads should follow the consent choices presented to you.

SoundSlicr does not control Google's cookie behavior. For more information, review Google's partner site information at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Local storage

SoundSlicr stores your theme preference in localStorage using the key soundslicr-theme.

SoundSlicr may store whether you dismissed the optional install guidance so it does not repeatedly appear.

You can clear these preferences by clearing SoundSlicr site data in your browser.

localStorage is stored on your device by your browser. It is not tied to an account and does not sync across devices unless your browser itself synchronizes site storage.

Managing advertising choices

You can manage Google ad personalization at https://adssettings.google.com/ and review how Google uses information from partner sites at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Browser controls can block or delete cookies, but doing so may affect advertising preferences or other site behavior. SoundSlicr does not currently run a separate first-party analytics service.

If you block cookies entirely, you may still see ads, but personalization and frequency control may change depending on your browser and region.
